The TravelScoot feels like a feather compared to any other mobility scooter and this makes it easier to ride and manuver. This travel scooter can turn "on a dime" and come to an immediate stop too. The Travel Scoot is so lightweight that there is no need for a reverse gear. Just put your feet down and push backwards to go in reverse. The TravelScoot Mobility Scooter is available in both a deluxe and standard version with the only difference being the batteries. The deluxe version includes a high performance and light weight Lithium-Ion battery while the standard version comes with a Sealed Lead Acid gel cell battery. The Lithium-Ion battery weighs only 4.5 pounds compared to 20 pounds for the Sealed Lead Acid battery. Both versions of the Travel Scoot Mobility Scooter include a battery charger and have a 24 volt motor with 250 watt DC integrated controller.
