Avant Gauze Drain Sponges
2" x 2", 6-ply, sterile 2's Avant Gauze Drain Sponges from Medline feature a special fenestration for easy application. The extra fenestration of this drain sponge allows it to lay flat when wrapped around a drainage tube. Without it, the drain sponge will pucker, decreasing effectiveness by allowing fluids to pool around the drain tube. This simple feature, that most other drain sponges do not offer, helps to save time and energy. Avant Gauze Drain Sponges include all the benefits of non-woven Avant Gauze. Avant Gauze Drain Sponges are a sterile 6 ply rayon / polyester drain sponge. Packaged 2 drain sponges per packet. Avant Gauze Drain Sponges are highly absorbent, low linting and fast wicking to wound beds.
