The Amputee Extension can be removed from any cushion within a matter of seconds. Amputee Extension supports and hardware can be used with any Comfort Company cushion.
The Amputee Extension by the Comfort Company comes standard with a Solace fabric cover, which is designed for pressure relief and comfort. The fabric's multi-dimensional stretch alleviates pressure on bony prominences. Soft to the touch, the Amputee Extension Solace cover is fluid proof and easily cleaned with detergent. A velcro closure allows the Amputee Extension from the Comfort Company to be adjusted and customized to each individual user. The Amputee Extension is available in a variety of sizes and options including a round or flat bottom insert, as well as a standard or low profile model. The Amputee Extension can be ordered in a width from 8" - 12" as well as a length of either 10" or 14".

Specifications of the Amputee Extension by the Comfort Company
The Amputee Extension from the Comfort Company includes mounting hardware and pad only. Cusions are sold seperately. The Standard model of the Amputee Extension is for 3" thick cushions while the Low Profile model is for 2" thick cushions.
